Access Media Reader - Start, Stop, Pause, Continue and Reset buttons

I need to start, stop, pause, continue and reset the Media Reader in Kiosk Mode. Could you expose these functions as variables which I can Get or Set in a VB script? The problem is that in Kiosk Mode Media Reader does not automatically start the playback of a video. One needs to press the Start button on the Media Reader interface. I don't want to show the Media Reader interface to the user in Kiosk Mode. Any help here would be much appreciated.
