REgarding camera resoltuion

Sir, i am working on a project of autonomous rc car and i am using image processing for it.but on my screen i am getting a resolution of maximum 640x480 that is too small to cover my car track. I have a Logitech webcam C110 which has a resolution of 1024x786. Kindly look into my problem and provide me a solution as soon as possible.

You don't have any couple choices until you can move the camera backwards to get more in the field of view. Webcams don't come with adjustable lenses that you would need to fix this issue.

The only solution is to get another webcam like

which has a 120 degree view (yours is 68 according to http://buntworthy.github.io/Wecam-field-of-views/) so that would mean almost double the field of view. Note that at 120 you will experience warping that needs to be corrected with the Radial module.
