Has anyone used this camera with RR?
I see it has auto-focus, which might be a problem if one wants fixed focus. So mostly what I'd like to know is if anyone knows if the focus can be pre-set in a setting. Maybe even change it from RR as needed. Otherwise the camera will always be hunting if it's on a robot.

Roland,
Yes, the auto-focus can be disabled and manually set. We've used this camera and the next rev (silver HD one) for quite a while and do like those cameras. They have good exposure settings too which allow outside usage without getting flashed by sunlight too much. The circular form factor also allows a holder mechanism to nicely secure the camera for mounting. Trossen robotics used exactly this one on a pan/tilt system with good success.
