Water Motion

Hello, this is my first view here. I just want to ask if somebody know how to detect a water motion here? This might be the problem i had, I have no idea on knowing if my faucet is open or not. I want to know if the water is flowing or not. Hope somebody can help me out on this. Highly appreciate your answers. Thanks.

Billy,
Do you have an image of the faucet on and/or off? We'd need two images in order to understand what the difference between the two is and thus be able to detect the visual difference.
