Total blobs

I am using shape matching, and see that the system recognizes the total number of blobs found (shown in lower left window "Total Blobs"), and would like to use this number in a following VBScript. However when I display variables, the total blob count does not appear to be available? How can I obtain the number of blobs recognized by the shape match?

Jeff,
Yes, the SHAPES array and the ubound of that in VBScript will provide you with the count. Alternatively, if you just want the count you can use the Blob_Count module that will give you the same result in a BLOB_COUNT variable.
