Motion Tracking with RR on something smaller than a PC

My team and I are working on a project that uses RR to track and target video motion.  We are hoping to operate the device with something smaller than a full computer.  A netbook would probably work, but we were also looking at DSP controllers.  I dont think any of the microcontrollers will process fast enough to track motion in a video.  Any suggestions?

Yes, netbooks seem to run fine. ITX systems will work well too but are more pricey than a netbook. The Roboard by DMP can also work but that fps is much lower than a netbook (our tests range from 5 to 10fps with very little load). The reason is more about USB speed that the CPU speed. Another possibility is the FitPC which seems to be a good compromise on size between a netbook and RoBoard.

And depending on your application (just to be complete here) the following is a list of embedded DSPs that we monitor that may help you with your task. Note that we don't support, recommend or otherwise have anything to do with these companies ... they are just listed for your reference.
