We had a great time making our robot but we really had no percedption of how fast it was going to move when we calculated inches per second.  Now it runs a little too fast.  I want to slow down the 12vdc drill motors without changing gearing.  Suggestions please?  Maybe a type of resistor assembly?  I am not an engineer so your help is appreciated.  You can see the robot at www.edubots.org
