Using RR to send vales on Serial Port

Hi,
I am using the Image Tracker code to get a robot to follow certain colours. What I would like to know is how to get the values I need to move my motors onto the serial port so I can get tem to the robot.
I have seen the serial module and can set that up. It is in the Script part that I am having the trouble. Setting so that the value I want will go out on the serial port.

Take a look at this .robo file. After basic color segmentation, the COG of the image is determined, this value is processed into an ASCII character and the value is sent out the serial port.
