thinking of buying the SRV-1 camera for my robot projects and wanted to know can it be hook up without the surveyor robot in rs-232 mode
using srv-1 board and ttl to rs-232 converter

Fred,
The earlier version of the SRV-1 RoboRealm module assumed that the Zigbee wireless device was installed. This looks like a COM port on the PC. So in theory it should work ... but we have never actually tried it. I.e. you'll have to take a bit of a risk in buying a hardware combo that has not been tested.
