The camera settings for flipping are localized to your own camera's interface. When you enter into the Options->Video Settings and click on any of the buttons you are now in your camera driver interface and no longer in RR. Did you update your camera driver by any chance?

However, since these functions are often needed within the Bayer module we've added them in as checkboxes for convenience. Note that they have already existed in the Rotate module.
