Associating .robo files with roborealm Anonymous |
16 year
|
Hi STeven,
Just a quick mail to say that it seems to be a problem that when I try and click on a .robo file it asks me which program I want to open it up in. When I go to 'browse' and then select roborealm, then roborealm doesn't then appear on the list.
Thus the only way I can open .robo files now is to locate them from within roborealm. This is not too much of a bother (obviously) but may be something that you would like to know for future editions?
Best regards
Ian R

Ian,
Go into Regedit (i.e. click on Start->Run, type in regedit).
Select the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
locate .robo in that long list of extensions and delete it.
Then run RoboRealm again.
RoboRealm checks for the existence of the .robo and if not present will install the needed things to get the association to work. Its possible that this was corrupted on your machine.
STeven.
