Error in high res shape matching

I get the error "Invalid type in calculateShapeHistogram" when trying to train shape matching on the attached image.
Also, what's the best type of image filter to use on an object for shape matching? I'm using canny since that seems to produce concise surface details.

Aron,
The new version 1.7.22.0 should now be available on the website. That includes the fix for the shape match filter. Can you give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Typically we use blobs as apposed to lines for the shape matching. If you find the matching to be a little slow fill the entire blob in Morph->Fill with a zero should do it. That will be the typically way we use the shape matching ...
