I am a newbie to the roborealm and I am currently trying to use the API from the example. I've compiled the example in the API application and when I execute the file, the roborealm did open. However it firstly prompt an error message that it can't connect to the API port since it is possible that another program is using it. How to resolve this problem?

You may need to check your Windows security settings in that it might be preventing RoboRealm from attaching to a network port. Even though the port is a local one Windows can still block the creation of that port.
One you click on the message box does the program then seem to work ok?
