Max Edge
The Max Edge module will determine the maximum edge between each pixel in all color spaces. This is different from other edge detection techniques in that even if a pixel has a single strong edge with its neighbors it will still evoke a strong response as apposed to being softened by its other neighbors. This filter tends to magnify noise but is useful in detecting very soft edges that don't have much neighborhood support.
