Recognition of B/W Laserscan Targets

Hi all,

I am completly new at Roborealm. My current task is to recognice the center of Black&White targets of intensity images from 3D Laserscans. Nice would be a subpixel calcolation to get the center of the crossing lines.

Any idea how to realize this in roborealm?

Thx, Günther

You could do crossing lines ... or just find the COG since that will reflect the same position but take into account all pixels of the object. See attachment 1 that processes your first image. In a similar manner one can find the targets in the second image using the same attributes in the blob filter. See attachment 2.

Note, this is just a quick example. To reliably detect these objects will require many more example images to test that the configuration is appropriate for many different types of images. The attached only forms a place to start from.

STeven.
