Hi, how can we count the chicken eggs on a moving conveyor as attached in the video screenshot?

Turgut,
While its not too difficult to count the eggs in a single image, on a moving conveyor that becomes more difficult as eggs that the system has already counted need to be ignored on successive frames. The Line Counter module has this ability but assumes that the objects are within a single lane. It might be possible to use this module and configure it for a single lane (since its assumed the conveyor moves the same for every egg) but you'd need a video of the conveyor to verify this. You can probably just use a simple threshold to eliminate the eggs from the background prior to this counter. See attached as a guess of what might work ... but without having tested a video this will probably not work. If you'd like us to look into this further please contact us using the site contact form.
