datamatrix read orientation

I have a datamatrix that consistently read when it is aligned to the camera pixels, it read around 0 deg, 90 deg, 180 deg and 270 deg. However, it does not read at around 45 deg, 135 deg etc.

I used barcode reader module to read the datamatrix, with the "check all orientation" option turned on. Sample images are attached. Is there something in the algorithm that does not like large angles?

Pat,

This was corrected a couple versions ago. If you upgrade you should get recognition of both (just tested with 2.80.42).
