The only way to get RoboRealm to run on other operating systems is to use virtual machines that have windows installed. For example, you can run
https://www.virtualbox.org/
VirtualBoxfrom Oracle on Unbuntu to run Windows which in turn can run RoboRealm. Others include
http://www.vmware.com/
VMware or
http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/
Parallels.
There are some other options like using Wine on Linux to run RoboRealm which works but at the time of testing was not able to access USB webcameras on the machine. This, however, does not prevent the usage of IP cameras in this context. So that is another possibility if you prefer running Wine.
Additional possibilities are applications like
https://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/crossover/roborealm-24235
CrossRoads that can run Windows based applications on other systems like Linux and Mac without the need for the full OS.

Try downloading the Setup_RoboRealmXX.exe and use wine to run that. If that doesn't work (we've not tried that recently) then install RR on a Windows machine (just temporarily) and copy the RoboRealm folder from that machine to your unix machine. Then use Wine to run the RoboRealm.exe directly.
Again, we haven't tested this in years so I don't know how well this will work.
