Problem playing MP4

Hi Steven,
The following playback test was done on a Windows 7 system
Test 1
Phone:Nokia 5800 XpressMusic
Video format: QVGA
FPS: 15
Microphone ON
Works with Windows Media Player
Works with RR
Test 2
Phone: Sony Ericsson Xperia Active
Video format: QVGA
FPS:29
Microphone OFF
Works with Windows Media Player
Does not work with RR
Any idea why its not working in test 2. Also other then VGA and QVGA, does RR support FWVGA and HD?

You may try both AVI_READER and MEDIA_READER modules as they both use a different windows api to play those videos. Sometimes there is a video format that RR does not know about and windows does not offer a driver for ... in that case we can add that as needed but would need to have access to a part of the video that does not work.
RR does support multiple resolutions and is not restricted to just VGA and QVGA.
