serial communication problem

hi i am rohit ,i am trying to communicate my siemens plc with roboleam but i was unable to send or receive any data, i am using 8 bit ,9600 bdr,1 stop bit,no parity.  i am getting data on hyperterminal.  how to initialize the communication.
i am sending acii characters.
plz help me

rohit,

I assume you are using the serial module? Have you tried to see if that module shows any information coming over the serial line?

Or are you using that module but seeing no response?
