Hi, I'm interest Population threshold feature, but I can't found relative paper, anybody can recommand some paper about the theory of this method?

I don't believe there is a paper specifically on this technique. It is not that difficult. Basically threshold the image based on some number so that you have white and black pixels. Once it is thresholded use a window say 10x10 and count all the on pixels in that window. If the number of on/white pixels exceeds another threshold then set the center pixel on otherwise set it off/black.
Thus the name, count the population of on pixels in a given area and then based on that number set the middle pixel of the window to on.
