Set keys and Joystick

Is there a way to make RR set keys or create a joystick?

I have use a pvc tube whit blue borders so it was detected in my laptop camera as a joystick. it works and im making a new one as a trotle. but i don't find any way to set keys, up down left right, trotle up and down.

Is there any plans on improving keyboard or joystick module?
