tracking circles in RoboRealm?

I need to track three dilating white spheres for a project and analyze the data drawn from the motion of the particles. A colleague of mine created an application for RR, that can give me all of the data I need, but I just can't seem to get the video file to read on the module...
I checked the video format and it's MPEG.. (I'm a first-time user and I have no idea what works). Is this supposed to work?

Yes, it should ... just be sure to use the Media_Reader module as apposed to the AVI module for Mpeg video. If this does not work can you post that video somewhere where we can download and test why it does not load?
