The reason it was quick was that we're busy creating the Java version of the API wrapper. Since we were doing that anyhow the addition of two new routines to the C++, VB was a minor update.

Yes, we try to keep the updates mentioned on the homepage (via RSS too) but the addition of two API routines didn't make the "What's New" cut since they are essentially modifying existing functionality.

I'll give it a try.
Why not put up a notice somewhere on the site every time a newer version of anything is available?

New API Routine - GetVariables

Hi Tom,

We didn't have anything for requesting or setting multiple variables ... or at least we didn't yesterday. We just uploaded a new version of the API and RoboRealm that has examples of how to read and write multiple variables. We updated the C++ and COM object (VB + WScript) with the two new routines.

Please download the API AND RoboRealm again and place them ontop of your current version. Let us know if you run into any difficulties.

Multiple Variables Request

Can you outline the format of a single request for multiple variables?
I would like to get both the COG_X & COG_Y in 1 statement. I am using the API with a VB6 interface. I can get one no problem but two in one statement always crashes.
