        <description>
        Just following up on this ... it should be resolved. The problem was caused by allowing \\0 to be included in a message as many devices communicate in binary. Unfortunately this change also appended a zero at the end of every communication. This has been fixed in the latest version.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;STeven.&lt;br&gt;        </description>

        <title>Serial Communication</title>
        <description>
        Hi, I am using RR to interface with my PIC based embedded system, using the serial module to send commands to the board. Using the &quot;Send now&quot; button on the serial console to send the commands works fine, but the vbscript adds &quot;\\0&quot; to my command, which is a null character I think. Is it possible to prevent this from being sent, as the &quot;Send now&quot; button does not send this \\0.        </description>
