You may try the OpenNI2 module instead which uses the MS Kinect drivers. See

for more information on that. Its possible that the Kinect sensor you have no longer is supported by usblib.

PROBLEM CONNECTING ROBOREALM WITH KINECT

Hi all,

I am new to roborealm and I currently am having a problem connecting a kinect sensor into roborealm. I have followed the due installation instructions and so far I have been able to install the audio and camera but I've not been able to install the motor drivers (Windows gives me an error that it cannot find the motor).
Also when I try opening the kinect module in roborealm I still am not able to get any image data (the IR sensor doesn't even start up).

Please advice me.
