Not sure what you mean but perhaps the Blob_Colorize module is what you are looking for?

Hi STeven

In the image I attached, each blob is represented by at least 3 shades of grey (meaning they are further segmented into 3 more blobs). How do I maintain it as a single blob with a single mean color?
