        That depends on the camera manufacturer. When you say &quot;webcam&quot; you are talking either about a WFV or DirectX access into the camera from a PC. You can provide these with USB3.0 too and make things look like a webcamera. In fact, you can do that with any protocol if you want. Many GeniCams or GigE cameras also come with a DirectX access that allow them to be used in apps that expect &apos;webcams&apos;.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;STeven.        </description>

        <description>
        Does RR support USB3 cameras?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I see that USB3 and GigE cameras share a GenICam interface, so I suppose USB3 is nothing like a USB webcam? Or is it?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Roland&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;        </description>
