Mark,

The best way to solve that problem is to use the Target Localization module which will account for this distortion and use it to identify the entire target. See

http://www.roborealm.com/FRC2013/slide050.php

for how to use this in FRC and

http://www.roborealm.com/help/Target_Localization.php

for the specific module.

At the bottom of the first link is a download to a robofile that has the Axis, Network tables and the localization module in one file.

STeven.

Since I am in the FRC, we will possibly be at angles to the target, skewing the image and making the aspect ratio not always 2.85:1. Can we make it choose and display only the highest scoring rectangle?

        Mark,

You would filter or remove the blobs that are irrelevant by adjusting the count values in the blob filter (i.e. set it to 1). This will eliminate all but the highest scoring blob depending on what filter you are currently using. Thus the aspect ratio filter's count would be set to 1.

STeven.

How to output only one blob in blob_filter?

How can we output only the highest-scoring blob based on blob_filter's aspect filter?
