Phidgets Motor Control - 1065 Motor Controller

I am currently trying to use RoboRealm 2.44.15 with the phidgets 1065 motor controller (which has replaced the LC version recently), and the program routinely crashes when I attempt to open Phidgets_Motor_Control. Is this controller currently not supported, and if so, are there plans to support this chip? If not, are there ways to interface with the controller without a formal plugin? Thanks!
