Yes, if you add the Roomba module, select the "Distance" word under the Sensor name and then type in a variable name (perhaps you can use Roomba_Distance) in the text box next to that sensor name dropdown the value will then be placed into that Roomba_Distance variable.

Note that at slow speeds our experiments have show the encoder and thus the distance value not to be very reliable. So you should run the Roomba at above 25% speed in order to get good values.

Hello, there is some variable like "distance" ,or "request velocity" in the roomba module, can you explain how to use it please?
