A vision only solution is a little tricky depending on what quality of results you need. If you read some of the other people counting posts you will note these concerns have been raised before.

The movement module is key in this capability. If you post a video somewhere of the setup that you have we can have a look at which configuration would be best.

Alternative to just a vision system using the MS Kinect or ASUS XtionPRO would provide much better results in many different types of environments.
