Robot arm control and inverse kinematics

Is there a way (or module) that i can use to drive a robot arm? It is a 3dof arm. So a coxa servo ( that one is easy since it only has to follow the object in horizontal axis), the femur ( upper arm controll) and the tibia (lower arm controll). Now when the arm has to go forward or closer to the object, the femur aswell the tibia have to move but together the still have to keep the same angle. This, so the arm does not move up or down while going forward.

I have some strong servos that i want to use with the polulu servocontroller for this arm.
