Steven,

I had downloaded some VB code from the web to control the firecracker for my iRobot Create contest robot. I don't remember the exact source but here are some links after googling:

I'm working on a larger version of my home robot that will have arms capable of interacting with home appliances. More to come by mid year.

Nice! Should be a good cool addition ... the order is on its way. Look out for that new module in the next 2 weeks once we get the hardware. Do you have any links to the VB code that you used? Would help us get a head start.

x10 firecracker

Can you add support for the x10 firecracker?

I used this with a VB program on my bot to control room lights. It does require toggling the handshaking lines of a true com port (don't think usb to serial converters work). however, most bots using a mini-itx board still have true comports.
