        <description>
        Yes, this has been added to 2.0.6.1 and updated on the API documentation page. The C++ API example now includes a &amp;lt;format&amp;gt;GRAY&amp;lt;/format&amp;gt; capability which will allow you to send a grayscale image instead of an RGB one.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;If anyone needs this in a different language let us know and we&apos;ll update that language&apos;s API calls asap.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;STeven.        </description>

        <title>set_image with grayscale images</title>
        <description>
        Hi,&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;ist there a way to send grayscale images by providing only the gray values?&lt;br&gt;Sending RGB values in this case produces a needless three time overhead.&lt;br&gt;(like in &apos;get_image&apos; with the &apos;format&apos; parameter)        </description>
