X Position

        Hello,

I have a project where I am identifying objects on a conveyor based on size and geometry. I have a pick and place down line where I will pick the object off using a stepper drive linear actuator and vacuum suction cup.

I can get the x-y coordinates in RR but I need to send these values to a Allen Bradley Micrologix PLC.

I looked into the Socket function but it seems to complicated. Is there a easier way to send the two values x,y coordinates from a blob to the PLC ? I have both Ethernet and Comm port available. I could not find any DDE exchange info in RR. That would most likely work for us as well by sending the values to excel then DDE them to the PLC.

Thanks
