Thanks for the help Steve,
It seems to be working fine now even if we unplug the power and reconnect it.
Ian,

An update went out today for RR that should fix this issue. You can now power down and up the Kinect and it should reconnect to the PC after a couple seconds without needing to restart RR.

STeven.

        Ian,

We'll look into that issue. Its possible that when just powered off the USB connection gets into a strange state since the Kinect takes part power from USB and part from the wall adapter. We'll so some experiments and see if we can reproduce the issue.

STeven.

Use of Kinect Module in FRC

        Hello,
We are using the a Kinect on our robot for this year's FRC game. It has been tracking fine, however, every time we turn our robot off, the Kinect loses power and we need to restart Roborealm. Is there any way to have roborealm constantly checking for the connection to the Kinect? So that we can turn the robot off and on without having to restart Roborealm?
Ian
