Joe,

The documentation is correct but it expects you to actually put something in the Button Status dropdown field in order to assign those values to it. So try entering in "mybutton" in that text field without the quotes and see if you see that variable get created with the values LEFT_BUTTON, etc.

Hey,

Still struggling with the mouse button status.

The help page on mouse interface suggests that I shoudl be able to see teh variable "LEFT_DOWN" and "RIGHT_DOWN" (see attached jpg). However, when I go to display these variables, they are not available (see other jpg).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I am having trouble reading the mouse button status.

I have tried; left_but = GetVariable ("LEFT_DOWN") to no effect.

Any ideas?
