Yes, we've noticed the slight hiccups that happen too with the Kinect and it seems to be caused by partial frames being rejected from the hardware device. I doubt is has anything to do with your video card but more the interpretation of the data coming back from the Kinect. Keep in mind that MS is only starting to like the idea of PC users using the Kinect without the XBox and thus have not released any official drivers yet ... if they do that may solve a lot of these erratic issues that may be caused by lack of understanding the signaling of the Kinect.

I expect that we will reengineer the Kinect module to work with alternative drivers (such as the NUI group) sometime soon to maximize the possibilities of the device but for now we've noticed the same image stuttering issues in those drivers.

Hey Steven,

For your own information. My kinect is working GREAT with Windows7. It worked 100 times out of 100.
But I did have a question 4U. Sometimes it studders or freeze frames. Is this something Kinect, RR, or is it my Video card. I am going to get another video card. I am going to put my 8800GT in there. Right now , I am running a non-win7 compatible card. That is probably it, huh?

I sure hope that my Leaf Robot runs with Windows7. This would make everything easier.
