Bug in Optical Flow Module or my reasoning?

        Hi STeven et. al.,

I'm coming back to the issue of using the Eliminate Global Flow checkbox in the Optical Flow module. My experience in using the checkbox is this: the effect on the overall Vector length is very noticeable. However, the effect on both the Needle cloud and the Block cloud is barely noticeable. I am trying to use the Eliminate Global Flow option together with a Threshold module to get the COG of either the needles or the blocks even when the robot's camera is executing a pan or tilt motion. So I was hoping to see more of squashing effect on the needs or blocks when the Eliminate Global Flow checkbox was active. Is there possibly a bug here or are my expectations incorrect?

Thanks!
patrick
