Las Vegas Robot Club (LVBOTS)
Club members are interested in autonomous robots that involve sensors and programming, as opposed to the radio-control and mechanical focus of combat robotics. They were recently working to put on our first robot contest, the LVBOTS Challenge, which was held on Saturday, May 14, 2005. The contest included robot sumo, maze solving, and line following competitions. Pololu Robotics and Electronics was founded in 2000 by three students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
